Luke 13:31-35:
Despite the Pharisee’s hostile warning, Jesus remains committed to his mission. His destiny, the fulfillment of the will of his Father, lies in Jerusalem. He refers to the third day, a foreshadowing of the resurrection. Jesus laments the stubbornness of his people.
I draw strength from you, especially during those challenging times when I am tempted to give in, to hide, or to find another way. You are there beside me reminding me that there is only one way.
