Luke 16:19-31:
The rich man, engrossed in his own comfort, is indifferent to the needs of the man at his doorstep. His opportunity to not only care about someone other than himself but to prepare for his eternal future is missed. The men’s deaths are as different as their lives.
I am mindful of the many opportunities to serve those in need that I have missed either unknowingly or with full knowledge. Please forgive me and open my eyes, mind and heart to others.
