Luke 10:1-12, 17-20:
The disciples have gone out on a second mission in today’s Gospel. The number 72 is significant in that there were thought to be that many nations in the known world. Jesus sends them ahead of him with detailed instructions about what to take, how to greet those they encounter and what to do if rejected.
This makes me think about parents whose child is leaving home for the first time. I am thankful that you are a loving parent.
Caritas Zambia is a Catholic Organisation that is an integral structure of the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB). The Conference of Bishops is a permanent grouping of Bishops of a given nation or territory that jointly exercises certain pastoral functions on behalf of the Christian faithful of their territory.
