Luke 5:1-11:
Simon, a fisherman by trade, balks at Jesus telling him to go back out to deep water. Daylight was not the best time to fish. Nonetheless, Simon did what Jesus said to do resulting in a miraculous catch of fish and the beginning of his journey of discipleship.
It’s hard to be obedient when doing what you ask doesn’t make sense, at least to me. But you call me to be faithful to you, to your word and I am assured miracles will happen.
Caritas Zambia is a Catholic Organisation that is an integral structure of the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB). The Conference of Bishops is a permanent grouping of Bishops of a given nation or territory that jointly exercises certain pastoral functions on behalf of the Christian faithful of their territory.
